Social media management, targeted advertising
After the exit of agricultural equipment manufacturers from Russia and rising prices on remaining products, there was a clear market need for combined deep rippers — previously available only as imports.
In spring 2024, a production facility was established from scratch in Voronezh. The owner and CEO of the new enterprise, DORF, approached us for support in bringing the agricultural implement to market. We began collaborating at the earliest possible stage — before the production site was even operational — developing social media content to attract and build an audience well before the product itself existed.
Launch social media channels, capture attention, and build trust in both the company and the DORF product among potential buyers and the broader Russian farming community.
No social media presence, no product — only 3D models and a vision.
We launched social media in May 2024, when the new production facility was still just a concept. We started by building the case for the project through director interviews and 3D product demonstrations. Once the facility took shape, we published behind-the-scenes content under the tagline «Follow the making of a new Russian manufacturer,» added humor through iconic movie stills, and ran weekly polls on agricultural equipment topics. To drive subscriptions, we used VK targeted ads and Telegram influencers, holding off on expensive Telegram Ads until a finished product was ready to showcase.
Starting September 2025, we moved to an expanded marketing package covering multiple content streams:
Within a month of launching social media, the company began receiving price inquiries from farmers and partnership proposals from dealers. In August 2024 — just three months into the engagement — a major manufacturer remarked: «We’ve been following you on social media — you’re an exciting young company.» By November 2024, DORF had established itself in the industry’s awareness as a new Russian equipment manufacturer, and both farmers and dealers had developed strong anticipation for the product launch.
After 18 months, social media became a fully operational brand-building tool and sales channel (even though that wasn’t an explicit goal with the client). Dealers found the client through social media. The company consistently receives price inquiries and requests for field demonstrations via social channels.
In November 2025, the company exhibited at the YugAgro trade show(biggest event in Russian Ag Business).Conversations with farmers and dealers at the exhibition booth revealed that many already knew about the product through social media. The content had captured their attention, built interest, and primed them for partnership.
According to the client, deals closed with buyers who came through social media exceeded 20 units by the end of the first year. In other words, together with the client, we built a sustainable customer communication channel through SMM. Client testimonials can be found here.
VKontakte targeted ad results as of December 2025:
These results would not have been possible without the tremendous contribution of the DORF team itself.
The company regularly supplies us with video footage of their production processes and field visits for content. Approximately once a month, the company’s director films around 10 short videos based on our briefs, answering relevant questions or commenting on the manufacturing process. Trend-driven videos featuring factory workers required significant effort from the client’s in-house marketer.
This reinforces a key principle: the best SMM results are achieved when the client actively participates in producing source materials for social media. That might mean video shoots, written materials, or something else entirely — depending on the client’s business profile. We address these questions with new clients at our very first meeting, when we present an initial content strategy before work even begins. If this collaborative approach works for you, get in touch.
